You must log in with BankID to see the status of your applications.
What happens during the process?
Log in and fill in the application. We guide you through the steps along the way, and it normally does not take long to apply.
When the application has been submitted, you will be notified when documents need to be signed.
We process the application. If you are starting a new business, we send the necessary information to the Brønnøysund Register Centre. You do not need to submit a separate registration through their solution. We keep you updated along the way.
If you are starting a new private limited company (AS), this is when you must pay in the share capital. You will be notified when it must be done.
Once the company is registered and the application is approved, you will receive notification from us. You will then be ready to start using your business services and begin operations.

Questions and answers about the application
Click on 'Check status or update application' at the top of the page and log in with BankID. There you can see how far your application has progressed, and you can add documentation if anything is missing.
You will first receive an email informing you that you have received a secure message, and then an email with a one-time password. Use the password to log in and read the message. You can reply directly and attach documentation. Your reply will also be encrypted.
No problem. If you miss the call, we will send you an email that you can reply to directly. We will also try to call you several times. If you want to check the status in the meantime, use 'Check status or update application' at the top of the page.
DNB charges no establishment fee. You only pay the fee to Brønnøysund Register Centre. If you start a private limited company (AS), you must also pay in share capital of at least NOK 30,000, but this money becomes available in your business account when the company is registered.
DNB charges a monthly fee for business customer relationships. As a new corporate customer, the first year is free, then NOK 149 per month including the accounting system DNB Regnskap Mini, or NOK 69 per month without the accounting system DNB Regnskap. Read more about the monthly price and what is included in our price list.
For a private limited company (AS) under establishment, you will receive the account number when you need to pay in the share capital. For all other applications, you will find the account number in your corporate online bank after the application has been processed.
If you start a private limited company (AS) or sole proprietorship via Digital company establishment, it is not necessary. We handle the work with Brønnøysund Register Centre for you. If you apply directly with them at the same time, the process may take longer. If you already have an active business or incorporation documents, you do not need to contact Brønnøysund Register Centre either.
You sign digitally with BankID, and we will notify you when the documents are ready for signing. You can find the documents you need to sign by logging in to DNB with BankID and then going to "My tasks". If the company has multiple role holders, everyone who needs to sign must use their own BankID to log in to DNB.
