Teach your children to manage money
Bank cards are the most common payment method in Norway. For children, having their own card is a great introduction to learning about money, finances, and that an account can become just as empty as a wallet.
It is safe for the child to use the card
- Children's cards have spending limits adapted to their age.
- It is not possible to overdraw the card – it can only be used when there are funds in the account.
- It is not possible to use the Children's Card for online shopping, and therefore it cannot be added to a smartwatch or phone.
- The child gets their own mobile and Online banking, but adults can also monitor the child's spending in online and mobile banking.
- The child can learn about money, cards, codes and card safety by taking Kortlappen
